HPRCA PGT Teacher (Geography) Eligibility 2026
Education Qualification :
Essential qualification(s) :
1. Master's Degree in the subject concerned from a recognized University (with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.)
2. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) as professional qualification from a recognized University/Institution with minimum 50% marks and should have passed Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by H.P. Board of School Education, Dharamshala, District Kangra or any other Agency authorized by the Government.
3. Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English.
Relaxation: Relaxation upto 5 % will be allowed in minimum educational qualifications to the candidate's belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories of H.P.
Note: A candidate shall be eligible for engagement under this Scheme, if he/she has passed matriculation and 10+2 from any School/Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. Provided that this condition shall not apply to Bonafide Himachali.

1. First of all, you have to sign up on the HPRCA portal by just clicking on the “Sign Up” option and then create your username and password.
2. Then you should complete your one-time registration like adding your personal details, education, work experience, and uploading your photo, signature, and documents.
3. After that, you have to check your profile and update it if needed, then only a complete profile will allow you to apply for the post.
4. Next, you can choose the post that you want to apply for and click on the “Apply” button on the official website.
5. Then you should select your preferred exam district, but keep in mind that the board may allot a different center if needed.
6. After that, you have to review your application details carefully, as the system will auto-fill most of the information.
7. Lastly, you should pay the application fee and submit the form. Once payment is successful, your application will be completed.
